- Occasionally,
in our modern way of living, we seem to get caught up in materialistic
gratification and forget to invest in our spiritual needs which are
just as important to our mental and physical health.
- Thinking
merely of our physical needs and neglecting the spiritual ones may
result in low vitality. The need for spirituality is inherent in each
and everyone of us.
- In
addition, the word 'bread' symbolizes our connection with earth -
where wheat, the material bread is made of - is originating from.
The Dream of Jacob - a ladder with it's top in the sky (our spiritual
needs) and it's bottom on the earth (our physical needs) should serve
as a model.
- The
fact that one lives now and here is not coincidental. Hence one should
act here and now accordingly, by trying to integrate with his surroundings
and society as much as possible.
- One
should realize the fact one's head is above all other organs is not
coincidental: Wisdom can take us higher resulting in better life!
